Adult Classes

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAArt classes for children, teens and adults are offered in the studio at the Coral Springs Museum of Art.  Guided by professional artist educators, students are invited to question, explore, experiment and solve problems as they create and interact with art.

Adults enjoy classes offered in the studio at the Coral Springs Museum of Art in the morning, evening and Saturday. Whether beginning or advanced artist, students benefit from new techniques demonstrated by professional artists in every class.  Classes offered include Painting, Realistic Expressionism, Watercolor, Mixed Media Painting and Drawing. Click on Class Name for materials list.

How to Register:

As of June 1, 2016 we are no longer accepting telephone payments. In compliance with merchant services, it is necessary for the Coral Springs Museum of Art to eliminate this as a method of payment.

Complete the registration form and email it to museuminfo@coralsprings.org or fax to 954-346-4424. For your security, we have introduced PayPal invoicing. You will then be invoiced via email by our Accounting Administrator. This invoice will not limit you to using a PayPal account, you’re welcome to use any of the following credit cards:

As always, you are also welcome to come into the Museum and pay at the front desk. Registration for any class is due one week prior to the date your art class is scheduled to begin.

Drawing (Ages 16+):

Instructor: Deborah Fletcher
Drawing and rendering is key to many artistic expressions. Learn techniques for developing a strong handling of value, composition, proportion and perspective.

Watercolor (Ages 16+):

Instructor: Rolande Moorehead
Explore the world of watercolor painting and experiment with various watercolor papers and endless watercolor techniques. All levels of experience are welcome and individualized instruction will be provided to meet with each student skill level.
