DESCRIPTION:Opening Reception:\nJoin us for an Opening Reception showcasing work by talented South Florida-based artists that represent the intricacies of Hispanic heritage and the cultural\, social\, and aesthetic negotiations that emerge from the experience of immigration within the Hispanic diaspora. \nAbout the Exhibition:\nOn view October 2 – 29\nEntre Dos Mundos foregrounds the ways in which artists articulate complex identities shaped by both ancestral heritage and the lived realities of their adopted environments. The works on view explore themes of displacement\, adaptation\, and continuity\, situating immigration not solely as a rupture but also as a generative process that produces new forms of cultural expression. Through visual strategies that draw from traditional iconographies\, contemporary practices\, and cross-cultural dialogues\, these artists highlight the fluidity of identity across geographic and symbolic borders. \nThe Opening Reception and exhibition are free to attend and view.
