DESCRIPTION:Join us for an exploratory workshop and immerse yourself in the fluid\, expressive world of watercolor painting. This session focuses on building confidence with water\, pigment\, and paper through guided practice and creative experimentation. \nParticipants will learn essential techniques such as washes\, layering\, blending\, and color mixing while embracing the spontaneity that makes watercolor so captivating. With demonstrations\, hands-on exercises\, and time to create\, you’ll develop a deeper understanding of the medium and your own artistic approach. \nThursdays 6:00 – 8:30pm\nSeptember 3rd – October 8th\n6 Classes\nInstructor: Jennifer LaCava \nFees and Discounts\nNon-Members $240 | 10% Member Discount \n REGISTER HERE \nPlease note: If the class does not meet its minimum enrollment prior to the registration deadline\, it risks being cancelled. Please call the Museum at 954-340-5000 for any questions related to registration. \nStudents Will Need:\n-Watercolor set of pans or tubes\n-Watercolor Brushes: Round 4\, Long Round 8\, Angle Shader 3/8″\, and a Wash 3/4″ flat.\n-Additional items:\n-Cold press watercolor paper 140 lb. or 300gsm.\n-Sketchbook that contains paper that works well with water media.\n-A board or flat surface to tape watercolor paper onto\n-Water container\n-Masking Tape\n-Paper towels and tissues\n-Plastic Palette or china plate to use as a palette\n-Drawing pencils\, erasers
