Your first drink is on us! \nJune 13 theme:\nThe Impression of Monet’s Sunrise \n(Claude Monet’s Impression\, Sunrise\, 1872 ) \n\nDiscover the painting that gave rise and name to a whole movement. Impression\, Sunrise\, 1872 created by the father of Impressionism\, Claude Monet\, changed the trajectory of art history and painting. We’ll discover the elements and ideas that made this possible: the rich saturated color\, the mark-making of the brush strokes\, the quick observational style of painting\, the shapes that allude to realistic depictions and their effect on the viewer.
