The role of our docents is to interpret the Museum’s exhibitions through guided tours, interactive education and hands-on activities. Visitors range from school tours to adult groups and families. Our volunteers play an important role in the Museum by participating in various programs and assisting Museum staff.
The Museum’s docents and volunteers share a love of art, and enjoy sharing their knowledge of art with visitors. The staff will provide training in the content matter at the onset of new exhibitions, as well as interpretive techniques. Membership is greatly encouraged, as it shows support and endorsement of the Coral Springs Museum of Art. A one-year commitment and minimum of 2 hours a month meet our minimum requirements.
