Summer Camp: Ages 12 – 15

Pre Care 8:00 AM-9:00 AM

The Coral Springs Museum of Art is making your summer camp experience easier than ever and you can now register your children for Pre Care at summer in the studio.

Parents can now simply choose the weeks of camp that work with their schedules, sign their children up for supervised care with Museum Staff.

  • Pre-Care is offered from 8 AM – 9 AM. Additionally, you can book After Care here.
  • Cost is $25 per week for pre-care.

Art All Week

The Coral Springs Museum of Art is making your summer camp experience easier than ever and you now have two options for registering your children for summer in the studio. You can still pick a specific program to sign your child up for, or you can choose the Art All Week option that will take the guesswork out of camp registration.​

Parents can now simply choose the weeks of camp that work with their schedules, sign their children up for the full day and the Museum does the rest.

Professional artist instructors will select the age appropriate art programs most suitable for the child. Programs offered include painting, drawing, sculpture, digital photography and graphic design and so much more.

Computer Animation

Learn the basics of animation and create art in motion. Learn to make a character walk and talk.
* Laptop and 3 button mouse required, limited laptops for rent. Find and install Blender at www.blender.org

Laptop Rental Required:
Laptops will be available on a first come, first served basis. All rented laptops stay inside the premises of the Museum. They are to be checked out/in daily for the duration of the session.
Cost of Rental: $25 per session. ($5 per day/ 5 day week)

Photography

Learn how to use a digital camera to its best advantage from a professional, award winning photographer. Master basic computer editing skills in Lightroom, Photoshop & Photoshop Elements.

3-D Modeling

Learn the basics of 3-D computer modeling with free and open source software, Blender. Learn tools used to create beautiful digital art, animation, games and 3-D printing.

Video Game Design

Students will learn the basics of game design and create interactive content with the Unity game engine. No coding skills required.
Laptop and 3 button mouse required,limited laptops for rent. Find and install Unity at unity3d.com

Video Production

Learn the “how to’s “of creating your own videos including pre-production, editing, sound and camera work. Shoot, edit and share on social media. Video camera not required!

Web Design

This class is a great introduction to the design, creation and maintenance of web pages and websites. Learn advanced techniques, graphic design and how to manage files to end the week with a fully functional website.
