Plan your child’s summer fun at the Coral Springs Museum of Art! The Museum continues its tradition of providing budding artists with high quality and exciting studio classes taught by professional artists.

Professional artist instructors will select the age appropriate art programs most suitable for the child. Programs offered include painting, drawing, sculpture, digital photography and graphic design and so much more.

The Coral Springs Museum of Art is making your summer camp experience easier than ever and you can now register your children for Pre Care at summer in the studio.

Parents can now simply choose the weeks of camp that work with their schedules, sign their children up for supervised care with Museum Staff. You are able to add this option directly on the booking page.

  • Pre-Care is offered from 8 AM – 9 AM. Additionally, you can book After Care from 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM.
  • Cost is $25 per week for pre-care or after care.

Computer Animation

Learn the basics of animation and create art in motion. Learn to make a character walk and talk.

Learn how to use a digital camera to its best advantage from a professional, award winning photographer. Master basic computer editing skills in Lightroom, Photoshop & Photoshop Elements. *Camera required.

3-D Modeling

Learn the basics of 3-D computer modeling with free and open source software, Blender. Learn tools used to create beautiful digital art, animation, games and 3-D printing.

Video Production

Learn the “how to’s “of creating your own videos including pre-production, editing, sound and camera work. Shoot, edit and share on social media. Video camera not required!

Web Design

This class is a great introduction to the design, creation and maintenance of web pages and websites. Learn advanced techniques, graphic design and how to manage files to end the week with a fully functional website.

Optical Illusions

Learn all about how to design your own optical illusions. Use color, light and patterns to create images that trick the mind into seeing things that are not really there.

Fantasy Illustration

Students will use their imaginations to create illustrations of incredible characters such as faeries, aliens, monsters, dragons, warriors and superheroes. Students will have fun exploring sketching, color mixing, anatomy and composition using traditional media in class.

Interior Design

Students build their own miniature structures that explore interior designing. Students use their creative mind to decide what your Interior design will look like.

Illustration and Design

Students will discover perspective and how to map out the proportions of figures and faces. They will also work in mixed media and print designs!

Mural Art

Dive into painting and express your inner self! This two week class is for students who want to explore how to create paintings in public spaces. Students will complete a collaborative wall painting under the guidance of a professional muralists.

Open Art Studio

This introductory class is perfect for the budding artist. Students will learn techniques using basic shapes and forms to propel their drawings to the next level.

Teen Comic Book

A comic book class just for teens! Students will learn fine points of designing comics including character creation, storyboard design, drawing techniques and plot development. A lively discussion of the history of comic books and their characters adds to the fun.

Art Journaling

Discover how to use different   materials to your advantage when art journaling! Get messy during journal making with collage, painting and sketching.

Teen Ceramics

Artists will spend two weeks creating in the ceramic studio, focusing on how to make fun pieces while working on the wheel and using hand building exercises.

Museum Policies: Classes run based on a minimum number of students enrolled. Because of this, the Museum reserves the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the class non-viable. In such circumstance, students will be notified of a Museum sanctioned cancellation. Further, the Museum follows the Broward County and City of Coral Springs weather advisory for hazardous conditions and does not provide make-up classes due to such weather related closing or other emergency closings. For more information about the Museum’s cancellation policy or for a copy of said policy, please call 954-340-5000 or visit The Coral Springs Museum of Art provides classes that are taught by professional artist in their artistic discipline. At times, instructors announced for a specific class may change. To this end, the Museum does not allow for cancellations due to changes in instructors. The deadline to register for any class is five (5) business days before the start of said class. Registration after this time frame is subject to a $15 late fee. All class fees must be paid in full at time of registration. There is a $40 assessment for all returned checks. Class fees cannot be prorated and are nonrefundable. No fee will be returned for failure to attend a class. Make-up classes are not offered. Minor children must be dropped off and picked up by a parent or disclosed guardian in the Museum reception area and checked in by Museum personnel. It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian of any minor child to inform the Museum, in writing, of any and all medical conditions, medications and/or allergies of said minor child.Discounts are in place for members and noted as such per class offerings. Discounts for siblings are considered after the first child is registered at the regular member rate, each additional sibling will be provided with a $5 per class discount.

Attendee Agreement: The Coral Springs Museum of Art is not responsible for any artwork or personal items lost, stolen or left in the classrooms. Items left behind may be subject to disposal or donation. I understand that the Coral Springs Museum of Art produces a range of communication and marketing efforts, which includes communication with other media outlets. With this understanding, I consent to the use of my image or that of my minor child referenced in this application for these purposes without compensation. Further, I understand that the Museum may use images of any and all students’ artwork without compensation. I hereby waive any and all rights and/or claims for damages against the Coral Springs Museum of Art that may occur. I accept all risk and do hereby release the Coral Springs Museum of Art, “the studio”, its employees and its representatives for any and all liabilities and/or injuries during any activity. Further, I agree that should medical attention be required due to accident or illness and my emergency contact person is unreachable, the Coral Springs Museum of Art is permitted to seek such medical serves deemed necessary and appropriate.
