CULTURAL CAMPS – Ages 6.5-12 BOOK HERE
Day Camp Schedule
Students will stay with their age group and rotate together as a class to each of their 3 classes.
Drop – Off 8:45 – 9:15am
Studio I 9:30am – 11am
Lunch/Breaks 11am – 12pm (bathroom, lunch, gallery, outside weather permitting)
Studio II 12pm -1:30pm
Studio III 1:30pm- 3pm
Pick Up: 3pm-3:15 any after 3:15 is a $1.00 a minute
Last Friday of session | Family Art Exhibit from 2:30-3pm. Enjoy the exhibit with the kids and then take artwork with you starting at 3pm.

ART START – Ages 5-6 BOOK HERE
Introduce your mini masters to the magic of art! Discover the Museum through a 2- week long summer camp of story time, gallery visits and hands – on art making activities. In the studio, we’ll explore the artmaking process using many materials and techniques such as painting, collage, and sculpture for some messy fun. Note: each Art Start session has different projects and runs for 3 hours daily for 2 weeks. Art Start is for ages 5-6 years old; 5 year old campers must have attended kindergarten or VPK to attend.

TEEN SUMMER INTENSIVES BOOK HERE
Painting On The Move
Take advantage of the unique views inside and around the Museum in this mobile painting course! Students will develop their observational painting skills using acrylic and watercolor paints as they observe the forms and colors of the changing locations around the Museum each class. This course is designed to develop students’ overall techniques and artistic creativity. Supplies are included.

3D and Mixed Media
This course is an introduction to the fundamentals of 3-Dimensional Design and Mixed Media. Students will use a variety of materials to create both freestanding and relief designs with techniques in drawing, painting, collage, printmaking, and sculpture. Supplies are included.

Teen Painting and Drawing Studio
This studio is designed to improve drawing and painting techniques, but more importantly, to demonstrate the crucial relationship between drawing and painting. Use different drawing and painting mediums, students will explore a variety of subjects ranging from the natural to the fictional and everything in between! Every class offers something new to learn. Supplies are included.

Drawing Out & About
The excitement of drawing is not confined to the classroom! In this course, students will learn to draw while out and about! Take advantage of the unique architectural structures and natural environments around the museum to make drawings from direct observation. Perspective, volume, and light are all captured using a variety of drawing materials including graphite and charcoal. Supplies are included.

Portfolio Development

Teen Ceramics Studio
Get hands on with clay in the ceramics studio! These classes introduce a combination of elaborate techniques in hand building, wheel throwing, and glazing processes. It is highly recommended that students enroll in hand building before taking wheel throwing.
