Home Study at the Museum

This 2-hour creative class is designed to offer homeschool students an opportunity to socialize and learn in a small-scale classroom setting. Students will learn about art history, elements of art, and principles of design through hands-on projects and exploring the Museum. Class content changes each session, so signing up more than once will always bring new experiences! All supplies are included.

Creative Labs: Experiment with Art

Young artists will have a chance to explore a variety of media, from watercolor to acrylic paint, mixed media, and clay. This is their chance to experiment and push the boundaries of art! All supplies are included.

Papier Mache Monsters!

Unleash your child’s imagination in this hands-on, creativity-packed class where we turn simple materials into fantastical creatures! In this class, young artists will learn the basics of sculpting, building, and design as they create their very own friendly or silly monster from scratch. Using recycled newspaper, glue, and paint, each child will bring a unique 3D creature to life – no two monsters will be alike! All supplies are included.

Imagination Station

Imagination Station is a place where your young artist’s imagination has a chance to develop, grow, and be nourished by the power of art. We’ll explore a variety of materials and media, working on projects that imagine everything from whole new worlds, to puppets, to new creatures and monsters! All supplies are included.

Junior Potters

Learn all about the basics of creating fun ceramic art! Play in clay with the coil, pinch, and slab forming techniques that build confidence in creating your own unique projects. Our tiny potters will create their giant masterpieces in clay and be well on their way to becoming master Junior Potters! Open studio hours are not available for youth ceramic classes. Clay and other supplies included.

Home Study at the Museum: Teens’ Lab Comics 101

This 2-hour creative class gives homeschool students the chance to socialize and learn in a small-scale classroom setting. Teens get to be themselves and make art along with our instructors while learning the fundamentals of Comic Book design. From narrative and character development to thumbnails and various hatching and cross-hatching techniques, this class will serve as a broad overview of what it takes to create a comic book. All supplies are included.

Private Class Lessons
Looking for one on one instruction? Private classes are great for artists that are interested in developing their skills and advancing them to the next level. These special lessons are especially great for artists who prefer focused one on one instruction or for someone who can’t make it to a scheduled group class. Please include the times, days, and class subject you are interested in. Let us help create a class just for you! We look forward to developing your next private class experience. Each session is 1hr at $60 per session. Register for as many sessions as you would like.
