Explore the foundations of portrait drawing in this hands-on workshop. Students will begin by studying skulls and plaster casts to understand the underlying structure of the human face, focusing on proportion, anatomy, and form. Using this knowledge, participants will then move on to drawing from photo references, applying shading, texture, and line techniques to capture realistic features and expressive likenesses. This workshop is designed to strengthen observational skills, build confidence, and provide a solid foundation for creating lifelike portraits.
