Intermediate Wheel Throwing – Ages 18+
This class is designed for those who have beginner wheel throwing experience and want to further their skills. Learn to improve your fundamentals, throw faster and larger, and elevate your glazing techniques. Sessions include demonstrations and practice time under the guidance of the instructor, as well as glaze, firing, and access to the studio during scheduled open studio time.
Attendance to the first class and the glazing class is mandatory. You may bring your own tools or purchase them at the museum. Clay must be purchased from the museum. Includes glazing materials and weekly open studio hours. NO outside glazes unless pre-approved by Museum staff prior to use in the studio—contact the Museum to receive a form. Open studio times subject to change – call the front desk in advance to verify studio schedule. Prerequisite: Beginning Wheel Throwing.
