Opening Reception: “Transitions” A Partnership with SOBRA Collective

Change is the only constant, yet its presence often slips by unnoticed. Other times, it leaves lasting impressions that shape identities and lives. Transitions, on view from October 17, 2025, through January 3, 2026, at the Coral Springs Museum of Art explores this enduring human condition through the work of the contemporary artists of SOBRA Collective.

Transitions features a collection of more than 30 works that reflect on moments of profound personal and collective change. Using an array of materials and processes, the artists present deeply personal interpretations of transitions that range from physical displacement to spiritual passage, from shifting identities to evolving states of mind.

SOBRA Collective is a South Florida-based group of artists that aims to cultivate connection, exposure, and opportunities for visual artists and arts professionals in Broward County and South Florida. The artists on view as part of Transitions were hand-selected by Museum leadership for inclusion in this professional curated exhibition.
