Join us on Friday, October 25th, from 4:30 to 8:00 PM for Art with Intention: a Frida Kahlo-inspired paint and sip event with a special focus on creating traditional Mexican retablos. With two different time slots to choose from at just $25 per person, you will be able to immerse yourself in the vibrant world of Mexican folk art as you learn to make your own Retablo—a devotional painting typically done on tin, depicting spiritual or symbolic imagery, often used as a form of prayer or gratitude. During her lifetime, Kahlo collected around two thousand retablos displayed around her home. We are encouraging visitors to come dressed as Frida Kahlo as an homage, but also for the chance to be entered into a raffle to win a prize!
If you’re a Frida Kahlo mega-fan, come dressed in your best homage to the iconic artist for a chance to win a prize! Raffle winners will be announced at the end of each session. Purchase raffle tickets at the event for $2 per ticket! Raffle winners will be announced at the end of each session.
