Lee’s painting “Beyond the Window” was selected for The Lunar Codex Artists on the Moon which launched into space on the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket in the time capsule of the Odysseus spacecraft. On 2/22/24, the Odysseus made its first soft landing on the moon for the U.S. since the last Apollo mission in 1972 and the first commercial vehicle to touch down on the lunar surface in over 52 years making history. Corey Stern
Ceramic Artist
Corey Stern is a ceramic artist whose practice centers on hand-built forms that honor simplicity, material presence, and the quiet discipline of making. Working with traditional hand-building methods, including coil, slab, and Kurinuki. Corey allows each piece to emerge through a process of carving, removal, and response. Rooted in the philosophy of wabi-sabi, his work embraces imperfection, asymmetry, and impermanence. Texture and form are prioritized over ornament, revealing traces of the hand and moments of stillness within the clay. Each object is shaped slowly, with attention to weight, balance, and surface. For Corey, working with clay is a meditative practice, an act of presence that values restraint, patience, and the beauty of what remains. They live and work in Florida.”

Ines Feliciano Delapi
Ceramic Artist
I have lived in Coral Springs for 20 years and have been a stay at home mom to my two beautiful kids. I signed up for a pottery sampler workshop at the Coral Springs Museum of Art in May of 2022 and I fell in love with the ability to take a lump of clay and make beautiful things. I continued to take classes and develop my skills. IFD Ceramics & Art was born from a need to express myself creatively. I love using bright colors and carving is my form of meditation. Through teaching I hope to pass along my passion for all things pottery. From Handbuilding to wheel throwing, I hope to guide my students into finding their own creative energy.
